Wileina Rhodes resides in Anchorage, Alaska with her husband and two children. Born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, Wileina and her family moved to Bethel, Alaska and fell in love with this great state and have lived here ever since. She is a Hepatology Clinic Nurse Manager at Alaska Native Medical Center and is passionate about advocating for preventative screenings through her platform “Screening Saves Lives”.
She holds two bachelor’s degrees: Health Science Education and Community Health, and a bachelor’s in nursing science. She also holds a master’s degree in public health and a master’s in healthcare administration and is a Ph. D Candidate. She has published 2 books inspired by her children, “My stuffed animals are like family,” and “May I take your picture.” In addition to being the current president of the GenNow Network Alaska chapter, she is the current reigning Mrs. Alaska AmeriCAN and serves on the Health and Safety Task Force and Professional Practice Committee of the Alaska Nurse Association.
